Woodbridge / ET

El Toro - 7
Woodbridge - 0

Well this one was a little closer then the previous games these two teams have had, but still not enough for the Warriors.

Ben Villines controlled action from the beginning and kept Woodbridge off balance at the plate. Jordan Wirth (recently off the D.L.) came in and threw well and Shane Jones closed it out.

Offensively, the Chargers scored 3 in the first and 3 more in the second and coasted from there.

El Toro extends their winning streak to 14 in moving their record on the year to 18-3 and 9-0 in Sea View league play. They're off for the weekend before coming back next week with a home and home series with the Oilers from Huntington Beach. Wednesday at HB and then back in Lake Forest on Friday.

In a related note, the El Toro snack bar was open and rocking! I even visited it once or twice to contribute to the kids program. I encourage everyone to visit it at the next home game.
