Sea View League Baseball Update

Busy week for the El Toro boys. They started off the week with back to back losses to San Clemente (10-3) and Laguna Hills (8-7), but then came on strong in the last 2 games beating Trabuco Hills (18-3) and Edison (10-0).

In the TH game, the hitting attack was led by John Greiner with a home run, triple, single and 6 rbi's. Jordan Wirth was once again dominate on the mound throwing 4 strong innings and Tyler Brashears came on to close it out. In the Edison game, the Chargers got great pitching from Shane Jones, Byron Manzo and Jake Tredwell to shut down Edison and Nick Villar supplied the power with a home run and a single.

Trabuco Hills hit a bump in the road this past week by their loss to El Toro and another loss to Millikan (13-5). They started off well in the ET game, scoring a run in the 1st on back to back doubles by Blake Consiglio and Keoni Kanahele. The Mustangs Michael Mobley looked strong early shutting down the Chargers thru 2 and a half innings but a couple walks, hit and a throwing error opened the flood gates. Dylan Churchill tried to keep TH in the game with 2 triples, but the rest of the bats of Trabuco seemed to get lost on their way down from Mission Viejo.

In other Sea View news, the Woodbridge boys look to have a high powered offense as they've beaten Loara (15-5), Costa Mesa (12-3) and Ocean View (14-8) handidly. They had a big division game with Northwood on Friday but as of deadline, the score hasn't come in. I'll post when I hear. (update - Northwood had their way in this game posting a 14-2 win).
