2) ALDS Predictions - Yankees over Detroit, Red Sox over Angels, Phillies over "Rocktober", St. Louis over Dodgers.
3) Penalties - I don't like the extent the referees are going to to protect the QB's in the NFL. Those 2 "roughing the passer" calls against the Ravens were ridiculous....... this is football, let them hit.
4) Weird Stat - Read this in Peter Kings SI column this morning - NE started the year against the 0-0 Bill's, played the 1-0 Jets in week 2, the 2-0 Falcons in week 3, the 3-0 Ravens in week 4, next week get the 4-0 Bronco's, then they face the (most likely) 0-5 Titans and then the 0-6 Buccaneers.... Weird.
5) Cable - Why does Tom Cable still have a job? Good possibility he's going to be arrested this week for assault on the assistant coach and his team sucks...... Does he have some blackmail photo's of Al Davis? Commitment to Excellence my ass!!!
6) Titans - Their issue is not Kerry Collins, however they need to shake stuff up. Starting Vince Young would breath life into Tennessee. They need something to kick start them.
7) Marlins - Report going around that Jeffrey Lorie (Owner) is having a meeting later on in the week to discuss removing Fredi Gonzalez as Manager. Are you kidding me? Here's a team with the lowest payroll in baseball ($36 million) and won 87 games this year and were in the playoff hunt till the final weeks of the year. Give me a break. They should be giving Gonzalez an extension after the job he's done there for the last 3 years. Marlins had the 6th best record in the National League.
