Lakers Win (or as I like to call it - Invasion of the Little Stupid Yellow Flags)

As much as this hurts to say, the better team won.... Congratulations to the Lakers. They were more than Kobe Bryant, lots of guys stepped up and played great offensively and defensively. When Ron Artests is hitting 3 pointers late in a game, you know it's your year (or not in my case!).

Big question now for L.A. is whether Phil Jackson comes back or not. Does it matter? They look to be a well oiled machine, slide Brian Shaw into the head coaching spot and let him roll the ball out there. At this point, with that roster, I don't think it would make much difference. Should be an interesting off season in the NBA.

As to the flags comment, here in Southern California, there'll probably be about a million cars on the road today (and for the next 3 months...) with those stupid flags hanging out the window. Is there a judge in the land that would convict me if I shot the person who invented that idiotic thing??? I don't think so.

Anyway, congratulations to the Lakers and we'll see again next year.

Bill
